Heartfelt Point State Park Proposal

by Burgh Brides October 3, 2024

A Point State Park proposal made the most perfect sense for Tony and Anna. Having met at Point Park University years ago, Tony wanted to pop the question in a meaningful, heartfelt way. In preparation for the big moment, he printed out photos of him and his sweetheart for her to enjoy as she approached the spot where he was standing. As Anna walked down memory lane, KM4Photography was there to capture her reaction to the images Tony had chosen, along with the emotion that followed once he got down on one knee in front of the fountain. Afterwards, they enjoyed a sweet photo session to document their happiness before meeting up with their families, who watched the proposal secretly from afar. The thoughtfulness and execution of this day deserves lots of praise! We hope you adore this session as much as we are excited to show it off.

About the Couple

Tony and Anna met at Point Park University. The first time they technically met each other was a movie night Anna and her roommates had, and Tony tagged along with some of his friends. They didn’t talk until six months later when their mutual friends were hanging out again and that’s when they really hit it off.

About the Proposal

From the photographer…

Tony reached out to me a few months prior to his proposal and told me his game plan – he was going to print out photos of him and Anna over the past few years and line the walkway down to the fountain at Point State Park with them for her to see. At the bottom, right in front of the fountain, he would be waiting to propose to her. So when the date finally came, I met up beforehand with Tony to talk through a few details. When I asked him what ruse he had told Anna to get her downtown and to meet him at the Point, Tony laughed and admitted that he had TOLD Anna he was going to propose to her that evening! But then he laughed again and also admitted that he had been telling her the same thing for the past week, so she most likely didn’t believe him. In fact, when Tony told Anna he was proposing earlier that day, she was obviously skeptical, and responded with, “You wouldn’t propose to me on a Wednesday!” But you know what? It was the best and most beautiful Wednesday proposal ever! Tony even made sure to get both of their families down to Pittsburgh to secretly watch from afar and to celebrate afterwards. He did everything right!
