Typically, the way to our hearts is through lots and lots of color. But this gray and white wedding inspired styled shoot has us thinking otherwise. The creative genius that is April of Mocha Rose Floral and Event Design took what some might consider to be two very boring colors and designed a look that is anything but. Inspired by grayscale design, the shoot – which took place at the Fairmont Hotel – marries luxurious details with contemporary style, and a little bit of sex appeal just to spice things up. A mirrored table top from Pittsburgh wedding rental company Marbella Event Furniture & Decor Rental was adorned with silver rimmed chargers and crystal glassware from All Occasions Party Rental. Each place setting was finished up with a chic black and white menu card from Loree Mayer Design. The star of this colorless show was of course the florals. White orchids, anemones, hydrangeas, lilies, ranunculus, and roses were paired with dusty miller, air plants, and gray painted palm leaves for a look that was monochromatic but highly impactful. These shots from Michael Will Photography and this footage from Jeremy Scott Films are sure to have you dreaming in shades of gray tonight!
About the Shoot
The team was comprised of some of the best wedding vendors in Pittsburgh and when you have good people, you let them do what they do best! This was a blend of our best work that came together wonderfully.
We knew what locations at the Fairmont we wanted and found dresses/suits that would compliment the models and overall aesthetic. Mocha Rose was responsible for everything in the ballroom, and they definitely delivered with a beautiful grayscale design. They transformed the breathtaking ballroom into a luxurious and romantic wonderland. The inspiration was sophisticated, clean, modern, luxurious, and sexy. The design team brought the vision to life with elegant, tall, and soft floral pieces paired with reflective surfaces such as ghost candelabras and mirrored table tops.
Who is the designer of the second dress ?
I’m not positive but they’re both from Luna!
