Intimate weddings don’t get the love they deserve but we’re pretty sure this elopement styled shoot will convince you to keep things small and simple. Nancy of Functions Pittsburgh designed an editorial that was focused on good times, joyful moments, and two people in love. Taking place at Coop de Ville, this shoot puts a fun spin on the ever-growing microwedding trend. Things started off with a funky, bold invitation designed by Oh Joyful Day. The happy hues, color block design, and modern fonts would be enough to make anyone RSVP with a resounding “YES!” In lieu of a giant, stuffy tablescape, lounge seating provided a cozy atmosphere perfect for conversation. That wasn’t the only unique spin put on old-fashioned wedding “traditions” though. Instead of a full length wedding dress, the model wore an absolutely adorable white mini dress with trendy puff sleeves from Bridal Beginning. The bright pop of pink eye shadow from See Jane Blush, power pony from Simply Captivating Salon , and whimsical Holly Hanna Floral bouquet with ribbon details were the ultimate finishing touches. From duckpin bowling to arcade games to a champagne vending machine, Coop de Ville is the ultimate in entertainment and this couple took it all in, showing what a good time can be had at this unique Pittsburgh wedding venue. Despite all of the wedding status quo shake ups this shoot brought to the table, a wedding without a cake is just a meeting. So of course Tasty Bakery whipped up a two-tiered treat that was chic yet had striking details. All in all, this styled shoot is fresh, contemporary, and sure to make you smile.
