If you’ve been counting down the days until we shared some New Year’s Eve wedding inspiration, the wait is finally over! We’re coming in strong with these over-the-top yet totally drool-worthy NYE ideas thanks to this styled shoot designed by Heather of Day Of Pittsburgh. The visionary team took over a Southside nightclub and transformed it into the perfect place to say I do. The color palette of icy blue, navy, silver, and white were reminiscent of a snowy winter night, while pops of red in the floral arrangements from Mt. Lebanon Floral brought about an oh-so-subtle holiday vibe. Further hints of the season can be seen in the snow-coated cake from Tasty Bakery. Working in various textures like velvet lounge seating from Marbella Event Decor and Furniture Rental, hammered flatware from All Occasions Party Rental, and embroidered table runners from Lendable Linens, Heather layered this look flawlessly. Speaking of flawless, just wait until you see that long-sleeved Milla Nova wedding dress from Bridal Beginning. Sapphire and diamond jewelry from Henne Jewelers and a smokey eye/bright lip combo from La Pomponne Beauty Artisans completed the bridal look. A New Year’s Eve soiree just isn’t complete without a confetti drop and that’s just how this shoot ends. Check out these images from Kathryn Hyslop Photography as you bid adieu to 2020 and clink those glasses to ring in the new year!
About the Shoot
Do your wedding plans include confetti guns, crystal chandeliers, and a packed dance floor? Sign us up. We envisioned Frozen-inspired shades of blue and a snowy ceremony. Soft seating and a metallic carpet echoed the groom’s crushed velvet tuxedo, and our bride’s Milla Nova gown proved sequins won’t be missed when you have 3-D flowers tossed along a 10-foot train. Pops of red in our floral design added a whisper of holiday season, and the sapphire diamonds? They were necessary!
Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end. Cheers to the new year!
