Sweet and serene, Megan and Eric’s wedding at PointView Hall at Kamin Science Center is like a calming breath of fresh air. With a pastel color palette of pale pink, eucalyptus green, and silver accents, the celebration was soft yet stunning. Having such fond memories from their time at their alma mater, The University of Pittsburgh, it only made sense that the couple chose Oakland for the backdrop for some of the day’s biggest moments. It was where Megan slipped into her Ines di Santo wedding dress from Bridal Beginning and it’s also where the soonlyweds shared their first look, which ended up being one of their favorite moments from the entire day. As if the past-meets-present moments weren’t already beautiful, the sunny skies above really made them shine. It was as if Mother Nature knew bright and airy was the desired style! The freshness continued into the reception space with a boxwood champagne escort card wall from Old Souls Vintage Rentals, a floral canopy above the head table, and stretched vines intertwined with baby’s breath along the family style tables. This look is the best blend of clean, contemporary, and romantic, and these photos from Margaret James Photography are proof!

Favorite Moment
Eric and Megan enjoyed every moment of their big day! They loved getting ready in Oakland and taking pictures at The Cathedral of Learning. The first look in Oakland was nostalgic as they both went to The University of Pittsburgh. Megan and Eric also loved their first look of the reception space. They enjoyed a special first dance alone before guests entered. Megan loved shoving cake in Eric’s face during the cake cutting. Eric enjoyed the amazing views of the city lit up at night. Both thoroughly enjoyed dancing the night away with their closest friends and family.
