Le swoon. This styled shoot puts a French twist on the traditional bridal shower and my heart is feeling all kinds of amour. With the idea of a bride saying Bon Voyage to single-dom and Bonjour to a married life, the creative brains of JPC Event Group and Garnish Event Design set to work with a Parisian theme in mind. In classic French style, black and white provided a chic and modern color palette while soft pink, gray, and metallic gold added pizzazz. So many tiny details came together beautifully to bring the look to life – menu cards printed on linen fabric then tied to French toile paper, mini champagne favors, a vintage Eiffel Tower and Paris postmark printed on vellum used as tray liners, pink Antoinette charger plates from Event Source, and passport invitations and luggage tag escort cards designed by JPC themselves. Even the cuisine was inspired by the City of Love, with quiche lorraine, tarte a l’oignon, and a French cheese board on the menu. These tasty hors d’oeuvres were followed by le sucre like macarons, crepe stack with raspberry crème, and croquembouche with spun sugar. A Bubbly Bon Voyage Mimosa Bar was the main attraction with peach nectar, hibiscus flowers, and lavender ice as just a few of the accoutrements. From the food and beverage to the decor and tablescape, no detail was left unturned. You’re bound to be inspired.
