Erin and Alexander’s wedding at Fox Chapel Golf Club is nothing short of a fairytale. Erin dreamed of having a floral-filled celebration since she was young and, thanks to her incredible team of Pittsburgh wedding professionals, it all came to life. Glam to Go had the blushing bride glowing in her Anne Barge wedding dress with the prettiest textured petal detailing from Anne Gregory Couture. Her veil also had flowers sewn into the design. From the outdoor ceremony to inside the reception area, May Chester Design had the space oozing with the prettiest arrangements. Not only was the aisle lined with lush greens and blushed buds, but the centerpieces atop the laced linens from Mosaic were truly show-stopping. Each guest was greeted at their seat by a rose that sat on gold-rimmed chargers courtesy of The 1978 Collection. It really is as enchanting and wonderful as it sounds! And speaking of sounds – did we mention Fireside Events also had the dance floor bumping?! With Wanderlust Weddings and Events to oversee the details and Michael Will Photographers along with Tyler Newpol Films there to capture the memories, you’re sure to enjoy this picture-perfect party of love!
About the Couple
Back in 2008, a girl from North Huntingdon and a boy from Ford City got Kerber’s Dairy ice cream together and the rest is history.
On July 3, Alex proposed to me in Central Park on the Gapstow Bridge. In the morning, Alex ordered room service and told me to get ready to go on a “walk”. While kneeling on the bridge, Alex asked me to marry him and a photographer jumped out to capture the moment on camera. It was a very special day!
About the Wedding
Growing up, I always knew that I wanted flowers everywhere at my wedding. The theme was very romantic and elegant with a big focus on florals. The colors were mostly neutrals with light pink and gold accents. I cannot thank my amazing vendors enough for truly bringing my vision to life.
Favorite Moment
The ceremony! The moment that I paused at the end of the aisle with my father and took it all in – the flowers, our family and friends, my husband waiting for me – was a moment that I will never forget.
My second favorite moment of the day was when I changed into my second dress and having Glam to Go put my hair into a romantic updo. It completely recharged me for the rest of the evening. With my hair up and second dress on, I was ready to get the party started. Also, it was so nice to have that second look photographed for the cake cutting and champagne tower.
