Today’s wedding at the Pittsburgh Golf Club doesn’t look like your typical December nuptials but that’s just what makes it so special. Couples getting married in the winter months usually embrace holiday or seasonal color palettes but Maria and Noah went for something a little different. Pretty shades of purple – including eggplant, lavender, and royal – were beautifully accented by bright white and metallic gold, giving the otherwise classic affair a pop of fun. Speaking of classic, the bride and groom looked like the quintessential newlywed couple with Maria in an elegant Anne Barge ballgown from Anne Gregory Couture and Noah donning a custom tuxedo from Surmesur Custom Menswear. After exchanging vows during a ceremony designed by the couple themselves, guests partied surrounded by warm candlelight and divine floral arrangements from Mocha Rose Floral & Event Design with Bachelor Boys Band providing the entertainment. Sweetly romantic and a fresh take on a winter wedding, this one was gorgeously captured by Levana Melamed Photography.
About the Couple
Noah and Maria initially connected through a dating app and met soon after, once a mutual friend encouraged them to meet. After a year and a half of getting to know each other, they got engaged on December 7, 2018 during a weekend getaway at the Omni Bedford Springs resort.
About the Wedding
The wedding look was classic and comfortable yet sophisticated. While it was a winter wedding, the mood was warm with lots of candles and fresh flowers. The pop of color from the purple flowers was divine. The Pittsburgh Golf Club was a great fit for their elegant wedding ceremony and reception.
Their ceremony chuppa was beautifully adorned with flowers and drapery, and their reception space decor was a beautiful continuation of their style with gold accents and a variety of flower arrangements, which made the space look so elegant and vibrant.
Favorite Moment
The ceremony! We designed the wedding ceremony entirely ourselves. We had an inclusive ceremony that had some of our closest friends and family members reciting quotes on love and marriage with special meaning to us.
