This engagement session at Hartwood Acres Mansion is rich in earthy textures, featuring layers of trees and garden foliage, beautifully contrasted by the grand architecture within the six-hundred-acre park. Captured by Steven Dalton Photography, romantic moments highlight dappled sunlight as the couple strolled along paved trails beneath a canopy of oak trees. Eric and Brandon wore complementary sweaters and vests, adding a cozy touch as they posed beside stone walls draped in vines and under the glass-covered Grand Pavilion. As one of the largest estates in the area, Hartwood Acres Mansion offered a special, elevated backdrop for the couple to celebrate their upcoming nuptials.

About the Couple
Eric and Brandon met at a children’s hospital in Pittsburgh in 2019 while finishing nursing school. Brandon, who was working on the IV team, placed an IV for one of Eric’s patients. The two immediately hit it off and went on a date the following week. Over the past five years, they’ve shared their lives both as pediatric nurses and as partners, committed not only to their patients but to each other. During a trip to Rome, Brandon proposed while they were on a rowboat in the breathtaking Villa Borghese Gardens. Eric joyfully said yes!
