Mother Nature sure did show her best side at Jackie & Ryan’s wedding at Riverfront Weddings. This couple loves spending time outdoors and Jackie is an avid gardener, so an al fresco soiree with the dreamiest garden vibes was a natural fit. A summery time color palette of pastels punched with bright hues set the stage for the stylish yet meaningful details, which were overseen by Devoted to You Events. Gorgeous florals by greenSinner – including a floral ceremony arch containing photos of lost loved ones – were a focal point, while miniatures bottles of locally harvested honey served as favors and fit with the day’s theme. Fresh florals were encased in calligraphed glass cloche jars, which served as a living seating chart. After feasting on the culinary creations of JPC Event Group, guests enjoyed Leona’s ice cream sandwiches, another local treat. About the Couple

We met at Full Pint Brewery after talking online via Bumble. Ryan walked me home that night and kissed me. The rest is history!

Ryan came to Canton, my hometown. We were there to meet my family at a Christmas-themed bar. It was very nice out so we went for a walk. He proposed at a nature reserve that was once a golf course.

About the Wedding

We wanted a garden party theme. We love being outside and I love gardening, and so we wanted to share that with our family and friends. It was “dressed up nature” and it was absolutely dreamy. We had honey from Hughes Apiary as our favor.

Favorite Moment

We loved our wedding arch and ceremony. We value time spent with each other and our friends and family, and I think our ceremony showcased our love. We had a reading and moment of silent gratitude for our loved ones and we wrote our own vows. We didn’t know each other’s vows ahead of time and it was great to have those surprises and share those moments with our loved ones. At the reception, our immediate families sat with us and we had family and friends give speeches.
