With an abundance of jaw-dropping details at every turn, this wedding at Irons Mill Farmstead is bound to leave you speechless. The celebration started with unexpected surprises from the very beginning. The rustic barn, which is typically used for dinner and dancing, housed Taylor and Jimmy’s ceremony. At the end of an aisle lined with candlelight and under a canopy of fresh greens, white flowers, hanging votives, and airy white draping, the pair exchanged vows. After that, guests found their assigned tables courtesy of escort cards from Oh Joyful Day that were playfully hidden within an installation of hanging greenery, crystals, and industrial-style lights. Then it was off to a tent dripping in Edison bulb chandeliers and luxurious florals thanks to the tag team magic of EF Lighting and greenSinner. Copper rimmed charger plates and hammered flatware from Eventioneers lined wooden farm tables from Penn Rustic Rentals while each place setting was finished off with a custom engraved Moscow Mule mug bearing the couple’s name and wedding date. It’s was as if a “Dream Wedding” Pinterest board came to life when Taylor and Jimmy said “I do” thanks to every beautiful aspect being meticulously overseen by Wanderlust Weddings and Events and captured by Oakwood Photo + Video. Take a peek and see if you don’t agree.
About the Couple
Jimmy and Taylor met in high school through mutual friends. It wasn’t love at first sight, but they spent a lot of time together. They decided to give it a shot and see where things went. After two years of dating and five years of being friends, they got engaged while on vacation in Breckenridge, Co.
About the Wedding
The wedding had a simple but elegant look with lots of greenery. The colors were white, navy, and light blue. Some pops of blush were added throughout. As far as theme goes, they were going for an elegant barn wedding. The tent was used to accommodate 250+ guests and was completely taken over by dreamy lighting and greenery. The most unique part of the wedding was the ceremony inside of the barn and the reception outside in the tent.
Favorite Moment
My favorite moment of the day was when the doors to the barn opened to my father and I right before we were about to walk down the aisle. The decor in the barn was breathtaking. And to see all of our loved ones under one roof with Jimmy waiting at the end of the aisle is a moment I will cherish forever!
