Elegant textures and metallic accents mixed with heavenly floral designs have us whisked away into this garden wedding utopia. From blooming envelope liners, floral filled lollipops, vintage china place settings, and hand-painted cake details by Four Oaks Bakery, this styled shoot is bringing all the flower power with design assistance from Em and E Events. But just when you think that’s all, there’s MORE! Bold red, fuchsia, and ivory tones blend seamlessly with the lush greens of the arrangements created by Holly Hanna Floral, while All Occasions Party Rentals’ gold chameleon chairs complimented the handmade metal centerpieces. This team of creatives put the “petal to the metal” (get it?!) and delivered the ultimate garden fantasy all while being eco-conscience. This shoot isn’t just blossoming; it has full-blown bloomed – and we’re here for it! Stop and smell the roses, and have a peek at all the goodness captured by Megan McGreevy Photography and Sarah Casile Photography!
About the Shoot
This styled session took place at a brand new, sustainably-designed event venue along the Allegheny River. A tree-lined outdoor courtyard was used to create this intimate wedding look.
We took Tree Pittsburgh’s mission of advocacy and education about tree preservation, protection, and restoration and wanted to create a beautiful garden themed wedding. We included a floral hanging garden from the skeleton of a green house and beautiful, lush florals in pastels and pops of blues and pinks. Hand-painted butter cream florals were featured on the cake, while floral jewelry, a pocket square, and greenery boa rounded out the attire. Floral lollipops, along with dried preserved floral petals and flowers, were used in some of the flat lays. We chose very summery, flowing tulle wedding gowns that fit the theme of our floral and garden shoot. The dresses both had designs of lace floral in the bodice. The metal centerpieces on our guest table were hand-cut and welded custom for this shoot.
This is the perfect inspiration for an eco-conscience bride, who wants a gorgeous and intimate garden venue.
