We’re sure when you think of regal wedding inspiration, a dark color palette doesn’t exactly come to mind. But that’s what makes today’s styled shoot oh-so-intriguing. Black, violet, eggplant, burgundy, red, mustard yellow, magenta…the list of dramatic, rich colors in this editorial’s palette goes on and on. The deeply-hued details – styled by Reverie Events and Weddings – made for a striking contrast against the old-world romance vibes of Mellon Park. A bold tablescape featured matte gold flatware, amber glassware, and purple chargers with fresh grapes, blackberries, and oranges at each place setting for a bright pop of color. The royal look was continued with the Pedram Couture gowns from Bridal Beginning. Featuring modern silhouettes, bold beading, and lush fabrics, each style was fashion-forward and contemporary. Twisted and unexpected, this styled shoot – and these images from North Arrow Photography – are sure to be a pleasant surprise.
About the Shoot
Every bride deserves to feel like a queen on her wedding day, and that’s exactly the vibe we wanted to portray with this styled shoot. Old world romance and royal opulence were our inspirations for this shoot. Our goal was to juxtapose a moody, old world, overgrown, royal-looking space with modern, fashion-forward, bold, intricate gowns by Pedram Couture and unexpected, unique accessories. We went with a deep, moody, vibrant, color palette and opulent, regal details to create a bold new twist on traditional, royal bridal inspiration.
