Not a romantic detail was spared in Tony and Ryan’s dark and neutral wedding at Kingfly Spirits. In fact, from beginning to end, the style of their wedding provided the perfect foundation to all the moments that would come. They spent the morning ready together before posing outdoors where the yellow bridges of the city made their monochromatic gray suits stand out in their photos from Frank Vislack Photography. While their ceremony and celebration were light hearted, the decor throughout the day was modern and sleek. Stationery and signs (which were designed by Ryan himself!) featured white fonts on black paper. The paper goods certainly looked super chic against the wooden barrels and exposed wooden family style tables supplied by Penn Rustic Rentals. A botanical backdrop complete with Edison bulbs placed by EF Lighting stood behind the couple as they exchanged vows. Later, Wanderlust Weddings and Events transformed that spot to the perfect placement for the pair’s sweetheart table. Much like the other tables, there was greenery, ivory blooms, and loads of candlelight. Each guest was even gifted a bottle of limoncello at their seat from the newlyweds. It was the best atmosphere to watch the two sway during their first dance before indulging in a menu from Bistro To Go and a piece from their marbled gray cake designed by Tasty Bakery. There’s a lot of pretty to be had in this celebration and we’re ready to show it off in all its glory!
About the Couple
They met in 2008 through friends/family. Tony was 14; Ryan was 15. They have been together since.
Ryan proposed to Tony by making a steak dinner. He doesn’t know how to cook, so it was cute.
About the Wedding
It was dark, neutral, and romantic.
