From beginning to end, Brianna and Jacob’s Carnegie Science Center wedding was the perfect blend of classic and contemporary. Incorporating the dainty dusty blue hue, it was every bit elegant as it was modern. Their beautiful ceremony and exchange of I dos was followed by an evening celebration. Jessica Garda Events assisted the couple in making their reception at the Science Center’s PointView Hall the perfect dose of simple yet fresh. Acrylic signs with delicate calligraphy, clean-cut black and white wedding stationery, and leafy silver dollar eucalyptus floral designs atop tall gold statement stands proved to be timeless, while clear chiavari chairs and a modern neon sign with their last name tied the look together with a trendy touch! Their party went out with a bang with champagne popping and a burst of fireworks to wrap up the most perfect of days. Kristen Wynn Photography and Just Hitched Wedding Films didn’t miss a beat behind the cameras, leaving you with these flawless photos that are sure to inspire!
About the Couple
Brianna and Jacob planned their wedding in five months, moved (and fixed up their new place!), got married, and went on a dream honeymoon to Italy, all while Brianna underwent a career change and started law school!
About the Wedding
The wedding was beautiful from start to finish. Everyone got ready at the Residence Inn on the North Shore and the evening ended with a bang with fireworks from the Pirates game at PNC Park just as the reception was ending!
I loved the boxwood hedge walls and custom-made neon sign the couple had designed for their head table, which then doubled as a DIY photo booth wall during the reception. The color palette of slate blue, white, greenery, gold, and acrylic was gorgeous with roses and eucalyptus used throughout the bouquets. This wedding was classically beautiful.
