Bree and Randi’s Strip District engagement session is bright, hip, and oh-so-sweet! Their engagement story is pretty darn adorable too. While visiting friends in Boulder, Colorado in 2021, this pair’s love story reached new heights…literally and figuratively. While hiking the picturesque mountains, Randi asked Bree to pose for a picture. As Bree turned her back, Randi pulled out a ring. Little did Randi know, Bree was also planning to propose. In a moment of pure fate, the couple exchanged rings and proposed to one another. Spoiler alert: they both said yes! Once back in Pittsburgh, the lovebirds opted for a bold engagement photo shoot within the vibrant streets that they call home. Adorned in stylish, coordinating outfits, Bree and Randi strutted through the spirited streets, sipped champagne in a cozy bar, and danced on rooftops in the golden light. About the Couple
Bree and Randi met each other in late 2015 through mutual friends. After a few failed attempts or missed opportunities, their paths crossed again in 2019. Soon after, Randi invited Bree to her birthday party at her apartment in November 2019. That night was different than any other previous night; the stars aligned and they stayed up talking into the morning. Since then, they closed the chapters within each of their separate apartments, made it through the global pandemic, and soon after, moved in together.
Their engagement story is one for the books. They had planned to visit one of Randi’s closest friends in Boulder, Colorado in April 2021. Little did they know, they were both planning to have each other’s custom rings finished in time for the trip, in hopes of proposing. They went on a hike in the Flag Staff mountains, both hiding each other’s rings in their fanny packs. They made it to “Realization Point”, which overlooks the beautiful mountains. Randi asked Bree to pose for a picture. When Bree’s back was turned, Randi pulled out the ring box from her fanny pack. Bree was speechless as she saw Randi hand her the box…and immediately dug into her fanny pack to pull out the same box that she had for Randi! They literally proposed to each other at the same time!
About the Session
They wanted to have a memorable engagement session, so they had fun with their outfits and chose to have their session here in Pittsburgh, the city that stole their hearts and where they call home. It was bright with fun colors, an amazing golden hour, and hip and chic vibes.
