Oozing elegance and luxury, this wedding at The Pennsylvanian is one you won’t soon forget. While Paige and Mitchell live in Colorado, they met and fell in love in right here in the Burgh. Hosting their wedding at an historic Pittsburgh wedding venue was a no brainer. The bride wowed in an Ines di Santo wedding dress from Bridal Beginning as she and her soon-to-be husband did a breathtaking first look under The Pennsylvanian’s rotunda. Then it was off to a traditional ceremony and a gorgeous photo shoot with Araujo Photography to celebrate their new relationship status. Then, it was time to party! At the reception, guests were greeted by oversized elevated centerpieces from Fields of Heather Floral, velvet chairs from The 1978 Collection, and a soft, romantic ambiance created by EF Lighting. Bachelor Boys Band kept the energy up with a dance party that lasted well into the night. The celebration ended with nighttime photos under the twinkling lights of the venue’s exterior. Honestly, this wedding has it all. Take a look and see for yourself.

About the Couple
Paige and Mitch met during the summer of 2014 while Paige was interning in Pittsburgh and Mitch was working there full-time. After dating for several years, they decided to move to Denver, CO so they could enjoy snowboarding, hiking, camping, and all of the things that they love most together. In March 2020, Mitch decided to pop the question on their way to Steamboat Springs for what Paige thought was just a ski weekend. While the couple loves Colorado, it was an easy decision for them to have their wedding back in Pittsburgh with all their family and friends.

About the Wedding
The couple had a candlelight, evening ceremony followed by a beautiful reception at The Pennsylvanian. The wedding colors were champagne and ivory with hints of blush and gold accents to create a timeless look. The bride wore a modern, chic wedding gown and the groom wore a classic black tuxedo.

Favorite Moment
From the photographer…
Our favorite moment of the day was photographing the first look under the Rotunda at The Pennsylvanian. They both had so much fun getting ready with their families and best friends, but they both just could not wait to see each other! Having an intimate first look with just the two of them was so special and a moment that they will never forget. From that point on, they never stopped smiling!
