A unique color scheme played center stage at this eclectic MuseumLab wedding. The drama of maroon and black were offset by the airiness of peach and blush pink for a palette that was both seasonal and striking. It was brought to life in countless details, starting with a variety of mismatched bridesmaids dresses from Blanc de Blanc Bridal and the groom’s tuxedo jacket from Jack’s Tuxedo. Textural floral arrangements of dahlias, amaranthus, pampas grass, and King Protea from Bella Florals added a boho touch while a velvet maroon settee from Vintage Alley Rentals was the perfect seat at the couple’s sweetheart table. A funky seating display, cocktail napkins featuring fun facts about the couple, and the bride’s custom leather jacket bearing the wedding date in Roman numerals were a few other favorite aspects of this eclectic celebration. Captured by Frank Vilsack Photography and Aaron Woods Productions, this feature is sure to inspire.

About the Couple
We met on Bumble and we got engaged in Deep Creek Lake in the summer of 2020. Zack surprised me in front of our families. We live in the North Hills with our goldendoodle, Luca.

About the Wedding
The theme of the wedding was dark fall boho. I wanted it to be eclectic like us, intimate, and fun! I think our wedding was unique because it had a lot of personal touches and stayed very true to us as a couple. We wanted it to be unlike any other wedding we or our guests have ever attended. We also put a lot of our own personalities into the wedding. Every time I was asked what my “vision” was, I just said I wanted to marry my best friend and have all of our friends and family come together as one. That’s truly all that mattered to me. We also are obsessed with our goldendoodle, Luca, and he was featured many times throughout the wedding, including in the cake, coozies, and vows.

Favorite Moment
Our favorite moment was our first look. We were not sure if we wanted to do one as we had always dreamed of that first moment when you see each other walking down the aisle. But the longer we thought about it, we decided we wanted to have more time to celebrate with our families. This was our favorite moment because this was the only time at the wedding when we just got to have that special one-on-one time and truly take in the day. It is a moment we will never forget!
