Nestled amidst nature’s beauty, the Gardens of Stonebridge provided the idyllic backdrop for Sarah and Dustin’s bohemian wedding. Floral arrangements were the heart of their retro theme, which featured a stunning array of fall colors. The Farmer’s Daughter Flowers worked their magic, adorning the venue with breathtaking bouquets, centerpieces, and floral installations that left a lasting impression. Sarah’s wedding dress even had the most beautiful floral detailing. Her look was complete with a floral hair accessory from Blanc de Blanc Bridal, placed perfectly by the team at Glam to Go. Tasty Bakery’s delicious cake creation even featured hand-drawn flowers that were as colorful as the couple’s record-playing guest book. Working with Wanderlust Weddings and Events allowed Sarah and Dustin to relax and fully enjoy their day, including their stunning first dance moment thanks to Amanda Wolf Productions. Ryan Zarichnak Photography and Tyler Newpol Films captured every petaling detail and contagious smile. There’s no doubt you’re going to be in awe of all the beauty!

About the Couple
A lot of people think we met in pharmacy school, but we actually met on our class trip to Italy. We became friends on that trip but did not start dating until a few years later.
Dustin would tell you that I kept ruining his plans for a proposal because I kept picking up shifts at work. He coordinated with one of my best friends to come visit the weekend he was proposing so I would not pick up any more shifts. I was definitely a little suspicious. He proposed at the Aviary in front of my friends and family.

About the Wedding
We knew we did not want a traditional wedding. I always knew I wanted a fall wedding. When we toured the Gardens of Stonebridge, we knew it was the perfect venue. I was inspired by all of the flowers and fall colors. Our wedding was retro/boho inspired. The venue itself is beautiful so we did not need to use a ton of decorations. The flowers were definitely the focal point of the wedding. My dad built our seating chart and our florist decorated it with flowers and it was one of my favorite things. We also had disco balls everywhere, which added a fun element to the wedding.

Favorite Moment
Our favorite moment of the day was 100% our first dance. We took lessons with Amanda Wolf Productions and it was one of the best things we did! Our first dance was to “Love Story (Taylor’s Version)” – my favorite song ever. It was so special.
