While I love flowers and linens and dresses and all the other frilly details as much as the next girl, I know they aren’t the most important part of a wedding day. What is? Moments. The little moments and the big ones and all of the sad, funny, or crazy ones in between. Those are what matter. The look of pride your mom and dad have on their faces when they see you in your dress for the first time. The innocent way your new husband kisses your hand at dinner. The look on your face when your maid of honor told that embarrassing story during her speech. The flower girl and ring bearer sharing a hug on the dance floor. The first kiss as Mr and Mrs. Whether monumental and witnessed by everyone or subtle and quiet, these moments are what you want captured in photographs. Of course, it will be nice to have pics of your centerpieces…but those won’t be what you cherish in 20, 30, 40 years. Today, I’m recounting the ones I loved the most from this past year!
