Get ready to take a bite out of this apple orchard engagement session that is everything we love about this time of year. Emily (of Em and E Events!) and Matthew ventured to Soergel Orchards with Pittsburgh wedding photographer Lauren Renee Photography. Taking in the blooming rows of apple trees and a fiery sunshine, these images are as romantic as they are casual chic. Donning a white eyelet dress from No. 14 Boutique, Emily looked the part of a glowing bride to be in every possible way. Whether you catch yourself staring at this darling couple or that golden hour light, we guarantee you’ll find everything about these images downright delicious. This pair just got married in August and the wedding day looked just as sweet!
About the Couple
Matt and I met when I was a sophomore in college and he was a senior. We both went to Duquesne University. We met at a house party on St. Patrick’s Day, which was also my birthday weekend! Four years later on the same weekend, Matt took me out around town for my birthday. We went to Grist House and Noodle Head. He then proposed in Highland Park, one of our favorite places to walk our pups! Afterwards, he had an engagement party set up with our friends and family to celebrate! I was in complete shock and could hardly speak all night! It was perfect!
About the Session
We chose Soergel Orchards in Wexford because Matt is good friends with the family and worked there for many years. We also knew it was the highest point in Wexford and knew that the sunsets were amazing there! We wanted the photos to be super romantic with the gorgeous light! Lauren absolutely killed it!!
