Sara Judith Events styled today’s Allegheny County Courthouse wedding shoot in what can only be described as a showcase of heavenly yellows. Captured by Anna Laero at the downtown Pittsburgh wedding venue, it’s a true celebration of design and light, with a dreamy indoor ceremony set on the stone steps and soft bursts of sunshine spilling into the courtyard. The styling took a subtle approach to minimal decor, romantic garden florals, and the interplay between the building’s historic, intricate architecture. Bouquets by Dormont Florist flirted with the natural greenery of the outdoor space through joyful arrangements of pink, peach, and yellow blooms, all set in bronze vases. They also created two floral pillars, along with asymmetrical arrangements that added to the whimsical, free-flowing atmosphere. The bride’s look carried the floral theme through a delicate lace gown from Blanc de Blanc Bridal, paired with a bouquet of cosmos, dahlias, and roses. LB Artistry completed the vision with a romantic hair and beauty look. Dining was delightfully arranged beside the outdoor fountain, with a spotlight on the gold foil wedding cake by Evanly Bakes, inspiring couples to imagine a courthouse micro-wedding filled with softness and warmth.

The goal was to showcase the venue and how an elevated, intimate wedding can come to life in the space. With its historic charm and neutral stone architecture, the joyfulness of the color yellow was calling out to me. Dormont Florist brought the soft pastel color palette to life with peach, blush, and shades of white blooms, creating an ethereal atmosphere that perfectly captured the essence of spring’s fresh beginnings.
